Presented here is Chuck's third LP, Berry Is on Top, originally released in July 1957 by Chess Records. It features twelve sensational numbers and was akin to a greatest hits sampler. The only new song on this LP was Chuck's own "Blues for Hawaiians." This album, together with the six bonus tracks, constitutes a true Chuck Berry greatest hits release.
